Group facilitator

Since 2018, I have facilitated regular group circles focused on building honest connections between people holding a growth mindset. The success of the work has developed further refinements of utilising narrative therapeutic principles for scaffolding learning and experience for building relational skills.

The development of relational skills is for everyone wanting to enhance their relationships at home or at work. Perhaps is helping a loved one in need of support, or perhaps it’s about improving communication with colleagues or clients.

T’ai chi practitioner

T’ai chi chuan is a Chinese martial art style that privileges the flow of internal energy over the use of external force. Based on the principles of Tao/nature, the movements are concealed, effortless, and efficient. This is a martial art that imparts a way to navigate life.

T’ai chi, which incorporates Qi gong, is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. This practice can be used for cultivating physical and mental health through improving mindfulness, slowing down, relaxation, coordination, and balance.

I practice and teach from the lineage of Grandmasters Yek Sing Ong, Huang Sheng Shyan and Cheng Man Ching. Qi gong/T’ai chi foundation classes are offered as a 16-week package on Tuesday evenings at 7pm to 8pm (from 18th February) at the Mount Eden Branch of Sing Ong Tai Chi at the St Albans The Martyr Anglican Church.

Tea storyteller

While tea is enjoyed globally today, little is known about the origins and history of the tea trade and culture. I facilitate gong fu cha (tea brewing with skill) tasting experiences while sharing the stories of nutrition, artful brewing, the distinction of different types of teas, etcetera. You will be steeped in a truely immersive experience that you won’t forget!

ConTact CARE foundation practitioner

ConTact CARE is a revolutionary bodywork that restores your body's state of ease and balance based on the laws of nature. Practitioners gently release hidden patterns of trapped pressure from the living skeleton, helping people feel more mobile and rediscover freedom from pain.

As a student, I practice and get supervision with Stephanie Saillour at ConTact CARE Auckland and ConTact CARE Headquarters in Ngatea. I currently offer ConTact CARE work on occasions to meet demand and to build experience.
